Return Policy — India

We offer a 7-day return window.
If you receive a damaged or defective product, the issue must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

To be eligible for return:

  • Product must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and undamaged
  • Tags, labels, and original packaging must be intact
  • Items must be returned with:
    • Hangers
    • Bags
    • Boxes (if applicable)

Products that are damaged, altered, or show signs of wear will not be accepted and will be returned to the customer.

How Returns Work

If you'd like to return your order, please email us at info@handikart.co.in within 7 days of receiving your parcel.

We offer two return options:

1️⃣ Bank Refund

  • Refund will be processed after we receive and verify the product
  • Refunds require:
    • Account holder name
    • Account number
    • IFSC code
    • Bank & Branch name
    • Passbook/Cancelled Cheque Copy

If the return is due to an error from our end (incorrect or damaged product), we will replace it or issue a full refund.

If pickup is unavailable in your area, you may need to ship the product back at your cost.

Refund Timeline

Once the returned product passes inspection, your refund will be issued within 5/7 days.

If the return does not qualify, the item will be shipped back, and the case will be closed within 10 days.

ABOUT HORN AND BONE

Horn-bone handicrafts are majorly made in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. These artifacts are unique and attractive and since the raw material for this artwork is obtained from dead animals, the products are eco-friendly. The horn-bone craft of Sambhal is world-famous and is exported widely to various countries. This craft is also practiced in Orissa where jewelry, showpieces, boxes, bangles, necklaces, etc are made out of horns and bones. It represents the cultural heritage and the origins of this craft lie in Orissa. The making of horn and bone crafts involves a series of elaborate steps including carving out the desired shape and size, soaking the horn/bone in water, heating it to a specific temperature for softening, and smoothening the surface, then carving out the designs with blades. Multiple steps of polishing are done to get a smooth and shiny surface.
